💼 What You’ll Do

• Build scalable backend systems and APIs from scratch using FastAPI and Python
• Architect and implement distributed systems with a focus on scalability and performance
• Write clean, modular, production-grade code with async programming patterns
• Develop and deploy applications on AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB) with Docker container workflows
• Own end-to-end delivery of projects from design to production deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a globally distributed setup
• Take initiative, self-lead, and thrive in high-stress, fast-paced environments
• Contribute to both client projects (80%) and internal healthcare product development (20%)
  
  
  

• Programming: Advanced Python development skills (clean, scalable code)
• Backend Development: Strong FastAPI development with async programming expertise
• Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (S3, DynamoDB, Lambda) for production deployments
• Containerization: Docker for development and deployment workflows
• System Design: Ability to architect and scale distributed systems
• Databases: Strong experience with scalable data solutions
• Version Control: Git and GitHub workflows for collaborative development
  
  
  

• Prior hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini)
• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures and vector databases
• Familiarity with MLOps or LLMOps best practices
  
  
  

• Minimum 18 months of industry experience in backend/AI engineering
• Proven track record of owning and delivering end-to-end projects
• Strong system design and architecture thinking (“think in code” mentality)
• Self-starter with strong ownership of technical decisions
• Ability to thrive in high-stress, fast-paced client project environments
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication skills for remote client and team collaboration
