Summary:
7-Eleven is seeking a Sr Cloud Engineer who is comfortable working in a challenging and diverse environment
to take ownership of our MS Azure infrastructure. You will also provide escalation level support to internal
team members and external clients via phone, email, chat or in person. Candidates should be highly
motivated, self-motivated and have excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills. They must
be a strong team player able to lead, train and collaborate with others. A CCIE or similar certification is
preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all aspects of the entire enterprise Azure environment is architecturally sound and highly available
• Research existing and emerging technologies that align with business requirements and provide effective
solutions based upon extensive professional experience, industry best practices, knowledge of industry
technologies through formal training and/or self-study.
• Participate in a 24x7 shift rotation as required by the team.
• Evaluate the current Azure architecture and develop action plans to make necessary improvements.
• Develop and maintain accurate support documentation in a knowledge repository
• Perform environment performance monitoring, trending, and capacity planning for the Azure infrastructure
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer issues within the 7-Eleven core infrastructure environment
• Provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 technical support for 7-Eleven’s Azure infrastructure
• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to ensure the Azure environment stays operational
• Other duties as assigned.
