Job Title: Software Engineer II - Commodity Engineer II
Location: Chennai
Work Type: Hybrid
Position Description
- Responsibilities They will work collaboratively with other software engineers to develop high quality solutions as well as with other technical teams to share best practices and ensure consistency in technologies, approaches and tools adoption.
- Work with Product Owners, Product Managers and Architects to design and develop optimal solutions Understanding business and user priorities, and technical feasibility, in order to prioritize the product backlog and manage risks & dependencies across features.
- Work with cross functional teams to deliver timely, high quality and well tested code.
- Develop API's ( Microservices) to connect with various individual microservices to communicate with one another.
- Enforce refactoring, continuous integration and automations to create maintainable code.
- Ensures active participation in Daily Stand Up and other team agile ceremonies;
- Ensures adoption of Agile, DevOps and software craftsmanship practices like CI/CD, TDD, Pair Programming
- 4+ years of Hands on Experience as Java Full Stack Software Engineer
- Strong programming skills in software design patterns, java Spring boot development, designing and developing REST APIs and front-end development using Angular, React TS, JavaScript, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, React
- Strong knowledge on Micro services and Micro Front End Architecture.
- Experience in developing and managing cloud native solutions (GCP), CI/CD using Tekton.
- Willingness to continuously learn, innovate and grow self is a MUST.
- Familiarity and prior experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies
- Familiar with extreme Programming (XP) practices including Pair/Mob programming and Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience of Progress Web Application Development Familiarity with one or more stream processing / queuing technologies like Pub/Sub ,Kafka Collaborative with a passion for building inclusive team cultures.
- Good to have LLM and AI models implementation understanding.
- Full Stack Java Developer, React, Big Query,, GCP Cloud Run, GCP
Engineer 2 Exp.:
- Practitioner: 1 coding language or framework.
- 4+ years in IT;
- 3+ years in development
