Software Engineer II

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Work on the complete software development lifecycle – from requirements to production
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs primarily using Java, microservices architecture (Spring boot) .
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Contribute to the development of cloud-native applications using AWS services, Implement best practices for CI/CD.
• Identify and participate in code reviews, fix bug, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain code quality.
• Design database schemas and manage data using NoSQL DB (preferred: MongoDB)
• Integrate AWS Kinesis OR Kafka? to enable real-time event streaming and communication.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and optimize systems for speed and scalability.
  
  

• 5–7 years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Java (Backend Engineer) and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, Fargate, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Kinesis/Kafka
• Strong knowledge of API security, including OAuth2, JWT, and access control mechanisms.
• Expertise in NoSQL DB (MongoDB/Dynamo DB) schema design and query optimization.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch or New Relic.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
