Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Analyze, develop, test, and support cloud, big data, and Java solutions to fulfill business and technology requirements
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize data from large, diverse data sets to drive improvements in software applications and systems
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
  
  

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficient in coding in one or more languages, including Core Java, Spring Boot, and modern programming languages
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline such as big data stack (Spark, S3, Kafka) and cloud technology (AWS)
• Advanced SQL and data management knowledge
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
