For NCR Platform-Engineering team, we are looking for highly experienced Cloud /Devops Engineers to join our expanding Cloud Engineering team. Our Cloud Engineering team is responsible for automating and operating NCR Retail and Restaurant cloud-based products.

Our aim is to turn the everyday into a great consumer experience, turn the restaurant/retail store into a place where you’re being served quickly, get exactly what you ordered, get great service, be able to provide feedback, pay using mobile.

Our product portfolio is the most successful retail solution available to the global market today. We are an agile development organization, practicing SCRUM and Kanban.

Qualifications:

• Experienced SRE/Devops with In-depth experience with CI/CD and Operations methodologies, procedures, tools, and practices with a demonstrated ability to apply that knowledge across diverse projects and teams.
• Provision cloud infrastructure with terraform and cloud native utilities
• Incident management and on-call support
• 6+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Software Development, or Software Operations role
• Knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitOps, Terraform
• Knowledge on Google Cloud Platform.
• Significant experience with at least one traditional development language (go, node, python, java, etc.)
• Significant experience automating tasks with a shell language (bash, PowerShell)
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Experience developing in a fast-paced, dynamic Agile environment
• Experience in Retail industry, POS software solution development, and/or SAAS
  
  

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Devops Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working on large scale solutions, with good understanding of the solution architecture, programming, system design, and migration planning. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can identify key activities and gaps concerning customer adaption to platform and develop comprehensive solutions for addressing the gaps.

POSTION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Primary responsibility is to develop high quality software solutions as a contributing member of a highly motivated team of Engineers. This individual will serve the “Software Engineering III” role on an Agile team on NCR Voyix Platform Acceleration Team.
