Software Engineer II

Job Description

You will play a key role in the creation and maintenance of cloud environments in AWS, supporting business-critical applications and participating in daily operations to ensure stability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Provision and configure new environments in AWS, including infrastructure components and required services.
• Support application deployments and ensure all infrastructure dependencies are in place.
• Monitor and maintain the health and performance of production and non-production environments.
• Perform regular BAU operations, including patching, backups, and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot incidents, analyze logs in Windows environments, and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with application teams and other stakeholders to support project and release activities.
• Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and operational tasks.
• Participate in on-call support rotations when required.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in systems administration or cloud support.
• Solid understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and related services (e.g., Active Directory, event logs, scheduled tasks).
• Experience with application troubleshooting in Windows environments, including log analysis.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server (basic administration, backups/restores, connectivity troubleshooting).
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, firewalls, load balancers, IP addressing, etc.).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, change, and problem management).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code is a plus.
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
