Software Engineer II
We have an opportunity for a Software Engineer II to join our Cloud Engineering team in Bengaluru, reporting to the manager of Software Engineering. In this role, you will be a key member of the Cloud Team working on the Infoblox NIOS, an extension of Infoblox NIOS on public and private cloud platforms. Infoblox NIOS provides core network services and a framework for integrating all the components of the modular Infoblox solution. You will be key contributor to the various NextGen features that customers will be looking for on NIOS. You are the ideal candidate if you are a strategic thinker, you enjoy collaborating across teams to drive results, and possess an agile mindset. You also have a strong desire to explore new technologies and demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills.
Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short and long-term goals.
Six Months: Gain expertise in Infoblox DDI and NIOS offerings while contributing to cloud strategic initiatives and resolving key customer issues.
One Year: Provide technical guidance to the Cloud Team while leading analysis, design, delivery, and maintenance of customer requirements in the vDiscovery and DNS sync space.

Software Engineer II
We have an opportunity for a Software Engineer II to join our Cloud Engineering team in Bengaluru, reporting to the manager of Software Engineering. Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
- Shape architecture to support long-term product and platform goals
- Drive technical initiatives and own features from concept to delivery
- Design scalable software solutions and provide effort estimates
- Build in Python, Go, and C/C++ on Linux
- Develop and maintain unit and functional tests in a modern CI/CD environment
- Contribute in an Agile/Scrum setup, collaborating on product definition, execution, and testing
- Work closely with peers in a highly collaborative, supportive environment
- Mentor teammates through design discussions, best practices, and code reviews
- Partner with Product Management, QA, and Support to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Ensure quality through rigorous design and code reviews
- 5+ years of software development experience with proven design leadership
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, and C/C++, plus familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Kubernetes, Microsoft, Citrix)
- Hands-on experience with public clouds (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and private clouds (OpenStack, OpenShift)
- Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network management (SNMP)
- Exposure to AI, Terraform, and Ansible is a plus
- Track record of debugging complex issues and delivering solutions
- Contributions to open-source projects are welcome
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to also work independently
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (CS, CE, or EE)
