Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer with production support experience

Location: Bangalore / Pune

Experience Level: 5+ Years Preferred (can be upto 8+ yrs too)

Role: Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and resilient Java Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in production support and a proven track record of thriving in high-pressure environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise across the Java ecosystem, front-end technologies, and cloud platforms. Having EIS experience is a huge plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for a large-scale distributed system, ensuring high availability and rapid incident resolution.
• Should be able to troubleshoot production issues by using observability tools and structured debugging strategies by understanding end-to-end flow and acquiring knowledge of the system architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time under tight SLAs.
• Document RCA and maintain knowledge bases for support teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis for recurring issues.

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with EIS (Exigen Insurance Solutions) platform is strongly preferred
• Prior exposure to insurance domain workflows and integrations.
• Ability to handle on-call rotations and critical incident bridges.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Prior experience with leading a team.

Technical Skills

Backend:

• Java version 11/17 and above, Spring Boot, REST API’s
• Hibernate/JPA, Microservices
• Maven/Gradle

Frontend:

• React, JavaScript/TypeScript

Monitoring & Support:

1. Datadog, Splunk, Kibana
2. Incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira)

Database:

• MS-SQL Server or similar
• Mongo DB

Nice to have technical skills:

• DevOps & Cloud:
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Familiarity with any of AWS/Azure/GCP
