Position Title: Software Engineer II – Golang
Position Location: Jaipur / Gurugram (Not a remote position)
Reports To: Engineering Manager
About the Role:
We are looking for a Software Engineer II – Golang who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining components of our enterprise-grade systems. You should be passionate about clean code, scalable solutions, and fostering a collaborative team culture. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute meaningfully while growing into a senior-level position.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Entrees (Requirements):
- 3–5 years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Golang
- Good understanding of REST APIs and service-oriented architectures
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
- Familiarity with microservice architecture, including:
- Service discovery
- API versioning
- Logging/metrics (observability)
- Fault tolerance
- Hands-on experience with Docker; basic knowledge of Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient with Git and Agile development methodologies
- Comfortable working in distributed teams across time zones
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in an international environment
With a Side of (Additional Skills):
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar API testing/documentation tools
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth or JWT
Unleash Your Potential: What You Will Be Doing and Owning:
- Develop and maintain backend components and microservices using Golang
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code
- Build and document REST APIs and integrate with third-party services
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams for seamless delivery
- Debug and optimize code for performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and internal knowledge-sharing sessions
