About The Role

As a Backend engineer at Orange Health the primary responsibility is to develop and maintain

the server-side of web applications and software systems. They are responsible for creating and

implementing efficient and scalable code that handles the logic, data storage, and

communication between the server and client-side applications

Roles And Responsibilities

• Design, Develop and Architect efficient and scalable systems that can handle large amounts of data By building systems that can handle high loads, you can help ensure that applications run smoothly and provide a good user experience.
• Mentoring the team and leading by example along with helping others to deploy the best practices.
• As a Backend developer you make an impact by improving the performance of applications and taking complete ownership of projects This can involve optimizing code, improving database queries, and implementing caching mechanisms to reduce server load and improve response times.
• You will be expected to keep up with the latest trends and best practices in web development, including new technologies, frameworks, and tools, and incorporate them into your work where appropriate.
• Mentoring the team and leading by example along with helping others to deploy the best practices.
  
  

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science/IT (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in scripting languages Python, PHP, Golang
• Strong knowledge of any of the databases like MySQL, NoSQL, SQL Server, Oracle,PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with systems that are asynchronous, RESTful and demand concurrency
• Knowledge of best practices for all stages of software development including coding standards, code reviews, testing and deployment
