What You’ll Do

• FactSet is seeking a software engineer with proficiency in Python to work on Private Markets Content Pipelines with high scalability, performance, resilience, and cost effectiveness.
• Ownership of end-to-end product development & deployment deliverables.
• Contribute to multiple engineering business functions.
• Ensure delivering high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code, and perform Unit / Integration Testing of assigned tasks within the estimated timelines.
• Influence Content Collection Pipeline design and innovation
• Keep up to date with the new standards and practices.
• Strategically explore open-source opportunities to improve our workflows.
• Collaborate with Content stakeholders to understand and prioritize their requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Agile Methodology by working with the scrum master and product owner.
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience working professionally as a Data/Software Engineer.
• Professional Experience with Python, SQL, and Cloud Native Development - Preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases (Columns, Documents, Key-Value).
• Experience in building data pipelines with an understanding of CICD methodologies.
• Organized, self-directed, and resourceful with the ability to appropriately prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion to provide value by enabling other developers.

• Experience with Jupyter Notebooks is a plus.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or Agile software development in general.
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices.
