Roles & Responsibilities:
The individual should be self-motivated, creative, and proactive to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies, and lab environments. The individual should have a strong understanding of agile processes and the related QA lifecycle and automation methodology.
1. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers and testers, ensuring they are skilled and ready to handle QA tasks effectively.
2. Planning: Implement QA strategies, policies, and procedures to deliver high-quality software.
3. Process Improvement: Find opportunities for process enhancement and implement standard methodologies to elevate product quality.
4. Teamwork: Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to align QA activities with business goals and project timelines.
Responsibilities:
Software QA Engineer III will craft and build test conditions, test data, and test scripts to address business and technical use cases. They use existing tools and techniques to implement test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation functions. They develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium. They design, implement, and analyze automation test scripts & test results for Desktop and Web applications
Candidate Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s in engineering or master's in computer science with 7+ years of validated experience
Mandatory Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Clear Understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle
Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Functional Test Automation development/scripting using Selenium with Java
Good development/scripting skills in common languages, which are Webdriver-compatible languages such as Java, Objective-C, JavaScript with Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby, C#, or Perl with the Selenium WebDriver API and language-specific client libraries.
Hands-on experience of creating/customizing Test Automation Framework
Hands-on experience with a BDD automation framework like Cucumber
Demonstrated ability of 3 years using Scrum-based software development methodologies
Experience of Test Effort Estimation
- Quality Assurance Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive QA plan, covering testing strategies, schedules, and prioritisation.
- Set quality benchmarks and metrics to assess the efficiency of QA processes.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Experience in adoption of QMS (ISO9001:2015), ISMS (ISO 27001), & GxP
Experience with development and testing on one or more mobile platforms is a plus.
Experience with quality, code analysis , and Configuration tools like SonarQube, Semmle, NetSparker, and Qualys, etc.
