Software Engineer in Test

We are seeking Software Engineers who have transitioned into roles focused on testing, process automation, and quality enhancement. In this position, you will be responsible for developing automated tools and test frameworks that streamline the software development lifecycle and improve overall product quality. The role emphasizes building scalable, reliable solutions that enhance efficiency and ensure high standards across engineering processes.

Your tasks

• Developing automated tests and test frameworks to enhance software quality
• Conducting functional and non-functional testing, including performance, security, resiliency, and chaos testing
• Optimizing and improving CI/CD pipelines for faster and more efficient deployments
• Identifying and implementing quality processes to enhance engineering efficiency
• Automating various aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Reviewing code and designs, providing constructive feedback for improvement
• Continuously upskilling and mentoring team members to drive growth and excellence

Requirements

• Strong automation testing expertise for REST APIs, with coding proficiency in Python or Java
• Prior experience in software development before transitioning into testing and automation is considered a plus
• Hands-on experience with performance testing frameworks such as Gatling and wrk2, as well as CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Practical experience working with containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Nomad
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS, along with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems, including Kafka
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana
