You’ll own end‑to‑end quality—from flaky‑test crusades to performance benchmarks—so our GenAI releases feel magic, not risky.ResponsibilitiesBuild the framework: Design and implement a scalable Cypress/Playwright + Jest automation suite covering web, APIs, and WhatsApp flows.Own CI gatekeeping: Embed tests into GitLab CI/CD so every merge triggers security, functional, and performance checks.Performance & reliability: Craft k6/Artillery scripts to stress microservices, track p95 latency, and catch regressions before production.Shift‑left quality: Pair with Product & Engineering during grooming to define testable acceptance criteria and edge cases.Data‑driven triage: Instrument flaky‑test dashboards, categorise failures, and drive MTTR < 4 h on critical suites.Release guardian: Sign off on release candidates, run exploratory sessions, and coordinate post‑deployment validation.Must-haves2–4 yrs automating tests for SaaS or high‑traffic web products.Advanced with JavaScript/TypeScript or Python ; able to extend test libraries and write custom utilities.Hands‑on with Cypress , Playwright or Selenium WebDriver for UI; Postman/Newman or RestAssured for API testing.Proven experience integrating suites into CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and maintaining pipelines.Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and experience seeding/cleaning test data via scripts.Comfort with Docker containers and basic Kubernetes concepts; can spin up test environments locally.Strong analytical & communication skills—able to explain a race condition to both engineers and PMs.Nice‑to‑haveExposure to LLM/GenAI testing (prompt determinism, hallucination detection, RAG integration).Experience with contract testing (Pact, Spectral) and consumer‑driven testing patterns.Security testing basics (OWASP, dependency scanning).Familiarity with Observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus) to correlate test failures with runtime metrics.Tech Stack @ LimeChatCypress
