Required Skills:
- Strong fundamentals in Python
- Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Strong debugging and problem-solving ability
- High attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
What You’ll Be Building:
- Backend APIs using FastAPI
- Features in a production-grade Next.js frontend
- Data pipelines that process and structure bill data
- Integrations that push structured bill data into accounting systems (e.g., Tally)
- Improve performance, reliability, and edge-case handling
- You will ship real features used by customers.
Nice to Have
- Experience with FastAPI or Django
- Experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (React/Next.js preferred)
- Exposure to LLM APIs (OpenAI, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP/AWS)
Interview Process Our selection process is designed to assess both technical expertise and cultural alignment:
- Initial Conversation (30 minutes): Introduction, career aspirations, and behavioural assessment.
- Group Technical & Case Study Assessment (60 minutes): Evaluation of problem-solving, system design,workflows, pipelines and applied coding through a structured case study.
- Final Discussion (30 minutes): Role expectations, collaboration style, and growth opportunities.
