Software Engineer (.Net Fullstack)

Work as a technical member of a team responsible for building cloud-based applications. You will apply your knowledge of building scalable, distributed applications and have the opportunity to work with new technologies & frameworks such as C# (.NET Framework), JavaScript and React.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following

You will be expected to:

• Your primary focus will be to ensure projects are developed in accordance with established engineering processes, adhering to scope, schedule constraints and agile project plans.
• Contribute to all phases in the software lifecycle – requirements analysis, solution design, development, and deployment.
• Define and maintain high quality standards for the work undertaken and be responsible for the quality of your own and your team’s deliverables.
• Communicate and work with cross functional teams.
• Work effectively as part of a distributed team.
• Participate in code reviews.

Requirements

Key technical expertise areas expected for this role:

• 2+ years experience of working with web applications.
• Experience with JavaScript/React, C#, .Net
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server programming.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Able to operate individually and as part of a team; effectively set expectations, manage work and deliver results.
• Good experience with relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development.
• Excellent knowledge of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Good knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach.
• Strong organizational skills with a good ability to prioritize tasks.
• Good ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
