Software Engineer – Node.js

Job Profile:

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Applications – Build, optimize, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js with Vue.js or React.
• Design and Manage APIs – Create and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs, ensuring efficient data handling and performance.
• Frontend Development – Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces with Vue.js or React, following best UI/UX practices.
• Database Management – Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, handling queries and optimizing performance.
• Basic Server Management – Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on cloud or on-prem servers, ensuring uptime and security.
• Collaboration & Communication – Work closely with cross-functional teams, clearly articulating ideas and technical concepts.
• Code Quality & Best Practices – Follow coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices in security and performance.
• Version Control with Git – Use Git for code versioning, branching strategies, and collaborating efficiently with team members.

Required Skills

• Proven Experience – At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js and Vue.js/React for full-stack development.
• Ownership Mindset – Takes responsibility for tasks, follows through, and ensures high-quality deliverables.
• Basic DevOps & Server Knowledge – Familiar with deployment, cloud platforms (AWS/DigitalOcean/Vercel), and basic server maintenance.
• Agility & Adaptability – Comfortable learning new tools, handling changing requirements, and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of Best Practices – Follows clean coding principles, security best practices, and modern software design patterns.
