Quality Productivity teams are responsible for building frameworks & tools that support UI, Unit and API level of automations for all the scrum teams at Pega. We are also responsible for building analytics Dashboard using Power BI & Amazon redshift. We also develop Gradle plugins / tools that support infrastructure, and we are also responsible for building framework for API automation that helps the microservices architecture at Pega. The team has strong expertise in Java, Python, Power BI, Jenkins, Docker, Groovy, Selenium, Playwright, Junit, Java & API testing.

Pega is changing the way the world builds software. In this role, you will work on building frameworks that supports Restful API automation and framework to test “Infrastructure as Code”. You will work on various new technologies that helps the quality of a “as a Service” product.

What You'll Do At Pega

• Build frameworks that support UI Automation using Java Selenium with cucumber & Playwright.
• Build frameworks that support Restful API Automation.
• Build internal applications using Power BI and analytics dashboards.
• Research & develop the code adhering to the best design patterns.
• Improve operations excellence by conducting code analysis and recommending changes in development processes.
• Collaborate with PO and identify technical gaps for accomplishing epic.
• Collaborate with Team members and resolve technical obstacles.
• Measures to maintain high quality of codebase like refactoring of existing code / plugins / frameworks.
• Measures to reduce operational challenges.
• Evangelize best practices & tools to accelerate development and improve productivity
• Develop & maintain unit tests for any new code developed.
• Showing sense of urgency in delivering in sprint user stories with no compromise in quality.
• Work as part of a collaborative team with a mindful of good software development patterns and practices surrounded by fun loving talented engineers.
• Use various tools, languages and libraries like Git, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, IntelliJ, Linux, Java, JUnit, Groovy, Spock, AWS technologies, Generative AI & LLM’s.
  
  

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field experience
• Proficient in understanding Micro Services Architecture.
  
  

What You've Accomplished

• 2 – 3 years of strong Java programming experience required.
• Strong Knowledge of Algorithms and Data structures.
• Expert the building UI Automation framework using Java Selenium.
• Playwright knowledge is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in working with Jenkins.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI.
• Capable of performing day-to-day activities with minimal direction.
