As Software Engineer Senior 2 ( Senior Android Developer ) in the Document workflows and Work collaboration space. You will drive initiatives end to end, working along side lateral functions like Product, Customer Experience, Security and SRE. Apart from the business initiatives, you will identify architectural and technical tracks and lead conversations on best practices for enterprise applications at scale.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer Senior 2 ( Senior Android Developer ) with a strong command of Java, Kotlin, Reactive Native, Typescript to join our mobile development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced applications for the Android platform, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, while also mentoring junior developers and contributing to architectural decisions.

In This Role, You Will

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Java, Kotlin, Reactive Native, Typescript.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns (MVVM, MVP, etc.).
• Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud message APIs.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection best practices.
  
  

Your Background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong proficiency in Reactive Native, Typescript, cross platform mobile application development
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room, etc.).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks is a plus.
