Software Integration Engineer

About the Role:

At Refold, we’re looking for an Engineer who loves solving real-world problems, building integrations that scale, and communicating solutions with clarity.

You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering and customer impact — working directly with product teams, translating complex workflows into elegant solutions, and making sure SaaS companies integrate faster, smarter, and more reliably.

This isn’t just about writing code. It’s about owning problems end-to-end, collaborating deeply, and shipping solutions that matter.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with CTOs & product teams to design scalable integrations.
• Build workflows in Refold to orchestrate data flow & API calls across systems.
• Convert technical requirements into reliable, production-ready implementations.
• Support pre-sales with quick proof-of-concept builds and product expertise.
• Feed insights back into the roadmap by working closely with product & engineering.
• Onboard and train customers to get the most out of Refold.
• Act as a technical escalation point post-launch to debug and optimize workflows.
• Document reusable solutions to accelerate future deployments.

Must-Haves:

• 1–2 years of experience in backend development, integrations, or tech consulting.
• Proficient in Node.js, REST APIs, webhooks, and auth flows.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a bias for building and shipping fast.
• Excellent communication, you can explain tech clearly to engineers and non-engineers.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while keeping a sharp focus on quality.
• Strong product instincts or an interest in transitioning deeper into product roles.
• Experience in customer-facing or cross-functional roles.
• Curiosity about SaaS ecosystems, integrations, and API-first products.
