Job Summary

As a QA Engineer, you will be actively involved in all the QA activities, responsible for ensuring Quality of the application developed. You will be coordinating with test automation team for functional understanding and test data design. You will also be working with automation team for regression and integration test automation to ensure the test coverage in automated tests.

Job Requirements

• Meeting with the BSAs, Project Architects, Development managers to determine quality assurance parameters.
• Training junior engineers on the QA process and standards
• Drafting testing process related documents.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test artifacts.
• Conducting review meeting with BSAs, Development team and Project Architects.
• Preparing Test metrics, Test reports
  
  
  

Essential Functions

• Providing estimates for all the Manual QA activities
• Designing test plans, test cases with good coverage and optimized testing approach
• Executing test cases for functional, regression and integration testing
• Following with development team for bug fixes.
• Identifying the regression test cases and maintaining regression suite
• Preparing E2E test cases for integration testing of Oracle CPQ with CRM and ERP applications
• Identifying the test cases qualifying for test automation
• Working with BSAs and Preparing consolidated test data for automation team
• Preparing traceability to ensure adequate test coverage.
• Prioritizing the test cases for Risk-based testing
• Sharing QA status with lead and manager
• Maintaining all the QA artifacts in project management tool
  
  
  

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, or master’s degree in computer science
• Overall 3+ years of experience in Quality assurance and 1+ years of experience in Oracle CPQ
