3. Job Overview:

We are hiring an experienced SDET to join our QA and automation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks and scripts, ensuring the quality and performance of web and mobile applications. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and QA analysts to build CI/CD-integrated and scalable testing solutions.

4. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Write clean and efficient test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure proper test coverage and quick feedback loops.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Identify test scenarios, create test cases, and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
• Perform code reviews, maintain test code quality, and promote automation best practices.
• Debug failed test cases and report issues clearly with steps to reproduce.
• Contribute to performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or Locust (optional).
• Monitor automated test results and ensure timely fixes for regressions.

5. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of experience in test automation or SDET roles.
• Proven experience in software testing and automation development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

6. Skill Set:

• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• API testing experience with Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and version control workflows.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
• Performance testing knowledge (JMeter, Gatling, Locust).
• Experience testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and test reporting tools like Allure, TestNG, etc.
