Job Description – Manual QA Engineer (3–5 Years)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our

growing QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality

software delivery across diverse client projects. This role involves working closely with

cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to validate functionality, performance, and

reliability of applications across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

 Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to develop detailed test

scenarios and test cases.

 Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.

 Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

 Collaborate with development, BA, and product teams to ensure quality is built into the

product from the beginning.

 Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and

retrospectives.

 Prepare test summary reports and assist in go-live readiness by validating production

deployments.

 Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing as needed for responsive and mobile

applications.

 Validate fixes and ensure thorough re-testing and regression coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

 3 to 5 years of manual testing experience in web and mobile-based applications.

 Working knowledge of the Agile software development lifecycle.

 Experience with test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management.

 Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).

 Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or Swagger (preferred but not

mandatory).

 Understanding of SQL and ability to perform basic database validations.

 Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and a problem-solving mindset.

 Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
