Job Overview

Software Test Engineer to support C&A team.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the product design team to define testing parameters and ensure alignment with product requirements.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and design effective test cases to validate product functionality.
• Execute various types of testing including functional, performance, security, and regression to ensure software quality.
• Troubleshoot issues and continuously refine testing procedures to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure timely execution of test runs and accurate reporting of results.
• Design and implement performance tests using modern methodologies and tools.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
• Create automation scripts using Visual Basic or related languages to reduce repetitive errors and streamline release cycles.
• Maintain compliance with company and industry standards across all testing practices.
• Generate clear and concise test reports for management and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to address issues and improve processes.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in software quality and development workflows.
• Stay informed about emerging tools, trends, and best practices in software testing.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing, preferably in product-based IT companies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C, or C++.
• Experience using testing tools and platforms such as Microsoft Azure, JIRA, Selenium, Appium, and other test automation frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or CSTE (Certified Software Tester).
