Software Test Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing on web and mobile (Android/iOS) applications to ensure the product meets functional and design specifications.
• Prepare, review, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business requirements.
• Conduct functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke, sanity testing.
• Log detailed bug reports and work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Document test results clearly and maintain comprehensive QA documentation.
• Participate in requirements review meetings to provide early feedback on potential quality risks.
• Validate bug fixes and perform retesting.
• Ensure the application is responsive and performs well across different platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure a seamless testing process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, Trello, or similar.
• Familiarity with Android/iOS testing environments and basic mobile debugging tools.
• Good understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per year
