Hi I'm Akhil Vutukuri the QA Engineering Lead at HowNow 👋🏾 I’m looking for a Software Test Engineer to join us.

Day-to-day tasks will include 📩

• You’ll collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
• You’ll write and execute manual test cases to validate product functionality and quality.
• You’ll develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• You’ll assist in creating and enhancing automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
• You’ll execute automated test cases for regression testing.
• You’ll perform manual API testing using Postman or Swagger UI.
• You’ll analyze test results, identify bugs, and collaborate with the development team for resolution.
• You’ll learn and implement best practices in testing and automation to continuously improve test coverage and efficiency.
  
  

The key things that we will be looking for in applicants 🔑

• You have 1–3 years of experience in software testing.
• You have solid experience in manual testing and a strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
• You have a good understanding of Accessibility and hands-on experience in UI testing.
• You have foundational knowledge of test automation using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• You are familiar with version control systems like GIT.
• You possess strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• You have excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• You show a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
