Software Tester

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through manual and/or automated testing. You will work closely with developers and project managers to identify bugs, evaluate product performance, and ensure a smooth user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review software requirements and prepare test cases.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to identify bugs, performance issues, and usability concerns.
• Report bugs clearly with steps to reproduce and track their resolution.
• Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and re-test after fixes.
• Perform regression testing and ensure that existing functionalities are not affected by new changes.
• Conduct functional, UI/UX, and compatibility testing across devices and browsers.
• Participate in test planning, documentation, and test result analysis.
• Ensure the product meets quality standards before release.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Candidates should have 1+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Understanding of test case preparation, test execution, and defect management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
