Software Tester (Automation) – Fintech

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester - QA with strong expertise in

automation testing and a solid background in financial technology (fintech). The ideal

candidate will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure high-quality

product delivery through efficient testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium,
  
  
  

TestNG, JUnit, Appium or similar frameworks.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to
  
  
  

understand requirements and define test strategies.

• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure stability of fintech
  
  
  

applications.

• Identify, log, and track bugs, and verify bug fixes.
• Work in Agile/Scrum development environments and participate in sprint planning
  
  
  

and reviews.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices.
  
  
  

Required Skills:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
• Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and scripting in
  
  
  

Java/Python.

• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in the fintech domain (banking, payments, lending, wealth tech, etc.).
• Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP).
• Exposure to mobile app testing (Android/iOS)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to work with large datasets.
• ISTQB or relevant certification is an added advantage.
