Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing database systems and support performance tuning.
- Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business teams to understand requirements.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across database systems.
- Assist in database schema design and documentation.
- Support data migration and integration processes.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience with one or more RDBMS platforms such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Good understanding of performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with data modeling, indexing, and normalization.
- Basic knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Power BI) is a plus.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
