Primary Skill: SQL with a background in .Net, C#, Unit Testing

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong expertise in SQL and basic familiarity with .NET and Azure. The ideal candidate will contribute to building and maintaining data-driven applications and integrations that support business operations.

Role Proficiency

• Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options.
• Optimize application development, maintenance, and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions.
• Guide and account for team development activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.
2. Develop and maintain software applications using C#.NET.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
4. Assist in integrating applications with cloud services (Azure).
5. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
6. Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments.
8. Document technical solutions and follow coding best practices.
9. Contribute to release execution and monitoring.
10. Engage with customers to clarify requirements, present design options, and provide product demos.

Expected Outcomes

• Code developed as per design, following coding standards, templates, and checklists.
• Documentation (design docs, requirements, test cases/results) created and maintained.
• Compliance with configuration management and release processes.
• Defects identified, root cause analysis performed, and proactive measures taken.
• Timely delivery of modules/user stories with quality and adherence to timelines.
• Knowledge sharing via reusable documents, SharePoint, and client repositories.

Measures of Success

• Adherence to engineering standards and project timelines.
• Low number of technical issues and post-delivery defects.
• High customer satisfaction and business impact.
• Completion of compliance trainings on time.

Skills & Competencies

Mandatory Skills:

• SQL – Strong expertise in queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Unit Testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, etc.).
• CI/CD tools – Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Basic knowledge of C#.NET and Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure SQL, App Services).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or other ETL tools.
• Understanding of REST APIs and data formats (JSON/XML).
• Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
