Sr.Automation Test Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Automation Frameworks: Design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks using C#.
Test Script Creation: Write, execute, and manage automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and continuous delivery.
Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Reporting: Generate detailed test reports and metrics to communicate test results and quality status to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on C#.

Technical Skills:

Programming & Automation:
Strong proficiency in C#/.NET (OOP, design patterns, async programming).
Experience with test automation frameworks like NUnit, MSTest, xUnit.
Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
Experience with data-driven and keyword-driven test automation.
Embedded System Testing & Real-Time Data Processing:
Experience working with real-time formula databases (RTFDB).
Strong understanding of signal processing, data acquisition, and recorder interfaces.
Knowledge of hardware communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, RS232, etc.).
Ability to interact with hardware interfaces and mainframe controllers.
Test Frameworks & CI/CD Integration:
Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
Ability to write and maintain automation scripts for CI/CD pipeline execution.
Experience in test result analysis, log parsing, and automated reporting.
