The candidate should have a strong technical background (experience working in Payment Gateway / Card Payments / Financial Services space will be a plus), should be a thought leader, have exceptional organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills and be an analytical and structured thinker. This individual must be able to think broadly about Visa's business / Value Added Services business unit and drive the expansion of Visa’s Acceptance Solutions platform & offerings

The candidate should possess a strong Technical background, with demonstrated expertise in contributing to medium to large cross-functional projects. We are looking for candidates who have demonstrated excellence in the payments, internet or related industries. The successful candidate must be a hands-on person with proven ability to engage in high bandwidth conversations with both business and technology executives

To be successful in this position, this individual must be highly effective working both independently and in cross-functional capacities to provide a supporting role in identifying, defining, analyzing, prioritizing and refining technology requirements across all categories. Successful candidates will be skilled at forging strong partnerships with business sponsors, product owners, architects, and developers to support the development process. This function will address bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints to maximize business benefit.

Beyond the design and planning stages of the development lifecycle, strong Agile expertise is required to collaborate with Scrum teams during implementation phaseThis role will also partner with the cross-functional leadership team to help define the roadmap priorities and ensure that it remains aligned with the broader strategy and priorities. This individual will foster innovation, collaboration, leverage new technologies and champion impactful change to build Visa's technology brand through internal and external initiatives

Basic Qualification
8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or with an Advanced Degree
12-15 years of industry experience within a technology environment, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software systems or services
Technical experience in Java technologies, API (SOAP & Rest) & Web Development
It will be an added advantage if the candidate has experience working in Payment Gateway / Card Payments / Financial Services space (in one or more of the following areas– Merchant & Partner portals, Billing & Reporting)
Demonstrated experience in managing and responding to RFPs – especially with understanding client Requirements and coming up with right Technical Solution
Proven experience in delivering impactful, scalable, and cohesive product solutions that are future-ready and address complex business needs
Ability to align solutions with multi-quarter objectives
Experience in reviewing technical specifications, user requirements, and Solution design documents to verify accuracy and alignment with project goals
Experience in understanding of the technical aspects related to the project to identify dependencies and risks effectively
Experience in creating, maintaining, and organizing all documents related to a project's solution
Proficiency in using GenAI tools & platforms
Proven track record in fostering and implementing new ideas, approaches, and technologies (using GenAI or outside of it) that led to significant improvements in business processes and outcomes
Ability to manage solutioning of multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Demonstrated capability to empower teams for optimal delivery efficiency and impact
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to think critically and solve complex problems
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency working in an agile environment
