Job Description: Data Engineer (Bangalore, India – Hybrid/Remote Considered)

Role Overview:

We are looking for two Data Engineers with strong experience in SAP, GCP, and finance/revenue domains to join our team in Bangalore, India. These roles require hands-on technical expertise in building scalable data solutions, integrating SAP data with cloud platforms, and working on finance-related data projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Develop and maintain data pipelines for processing finance and revenue-related data from SAP to GCP.

Ø Work with Google Cloud services (Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataproc) to manage and optimize data processing.

Ø Extract and transform SAP data, ensuring seamless integration into cloud-based analytics platforms.

Ø Write optimized SQL, Python, and Spark scripts to support ETL/ELT workflows.

Ø Ensure data security, governance, and compliance best practices for financial datasets.

Ø Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data analytics and reporting needs.

Required Qualifications:

Ø 4-6 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL, and cloud data platforms.

Ø Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and Spark.

Ø Experience working with SAP Finance or Revenue modules and integrating SAP data with cloud platforms.

Ø Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.

Ø Good understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data processing.

Ø Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ø Experience with SAP BODS, SAP HANA, or SAP Data Services for data extraction.

Ø Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and cloud cost optimization.

Ø Exposure to Terraform, Git, and DevOps practices.

Ø Familiarity with AI/ML applications in financial data analytics.
