Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented SQL Data Analyst / BI Developer with deep expertise in writing optimized and complex SQL queries and strong hands-on experience in Sigma Computing (or similar BI tools like Power BI or Looker). The ideal candidate will work closely with our data, product, and business teams to help transform raw data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets from multiple relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, etc.).
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using Sigma Computing or equivalent BI tools such as Power BI or Looker.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into efficient data models and visualizations.
- Develop reusable and parameterized datasets and components in BI tools for self-service reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across dashboards and metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights using data exploration and visualization techniques.
- Troubleshoot data and performance issues and provide timely resolutions.
Required Technical Skills
- SQL Expertise:
- Mastery in writing complex joins, nested queries, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and subqueries.
- Strong ability to optimize queries for performance and readability.
- Experience with large datasets and query tuning.
- BI Tool Proficiency (Any one or more of the following):
- Sigma Computing: Experience creating datasets, templates, visual explorations, and embedding reports.
- Power BI: Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and building custom visuals.
- Looker: Experience with LookML modeling, derived tables, and visualization development.
- Data Modeling & Analytics:
- Experience in creating star/snowflake schema models.
- Understanding of KPIs, cohort analysis, funnel reports, etc.
- Database Systems:
- Hands-on experience with relational databases like Snowflake, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses is a plus.
- Version Control & Collaboration Tools:
- Git/GitHub, JIRA, or similar platforms for task tracking and versioning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with SaaS products or data-heavy dashboards.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, R) for data automation is a bonus.
- Familiarity with APIs or integrating BI tools with external systems.
- Experience in stakeholder communication and requirement gathering.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
