General Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET or Java.
• Well versed with different type of databases.
• Write optimized, scalable, and high-performance backend code.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and software reliability.
• Integrate data from various backend services and databases.
• Create and maintain detailed software documentation.
• Deliver high-quality work within project timelines.
• Mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and presentations.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  
  
  

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of overall software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with backend technologies such as Java, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Docker.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL or other database management systems.
• 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot and REST API development; familiarity with protocols like socket or Thrift APIs is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience with version control systems such as Git or Perforce.
