Position Overview
The IT Executive is responsible for providing technical support, maintaining the school’s IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. The role includes supporting academic and administrative staff, students, and digital learning platforms in alignment with the school's technology objectives.
Key Responsibilities1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, projectors, printers, and classroom smart devices.
- Respond to and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Manage user accounts, email configurations, and system access controls.
2. Infrastructure Maintenance
- Assist in maintaining the school’s servers, data backups, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Monitor and manage school Wi-Fi and internet connectivity.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and AMC services.
3. IT Systems & Tools
- Support the implementation and smooth functioning of school ERP systems, learning management systems (LMS), and other educational technologies.
- Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of AV equipment for events, presentations, and classrooms.
- Maintain inventory of all IT assets and licenses.
4. Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Ensure anti-virus, data protection, and cybersecurity protocols are up to date and followed.
- Support adherence to school IT policies, data security guidelines, and software licensing requirements.
5. Training & Documentation
- Provide basic IT training to staff and students when needed.
- Maintain technical documentation, including IT manuals, SOPs, and service logs.
- Assist in onboarding new users and devices to the school network.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows, Mac OS, and basic networking.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Google Workspace, MS Office 365, and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with education technologies such as Google Classroom, Zoom, or similar platforms.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- A proactive and service-oriented approach.
Working Conditions
- May be required to work on weekends or evenings during school events or emergencies.
- Should be physically capable of lifting IT equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
