Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with expertise in Java, Angular, and Database technologies, along with strong knowledge of the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications that support our core banking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java (Spring Boot / Microservices).
- Build responsive and dynamic frontend applications using Angular (v10+).
- Develop complex SQL queries and manage relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements within the banking and financial services context.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Angular (version 10 or above).
- Proficient in SQL and Database design (experience with RDBMS like Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
- Solid understanding of banking domain workflows, such as payments, loans, core banking, KYC, or credit risk.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and front-end testing (Jasmine/Karma) is a plus.
- Good experience in banking domain knowledge (CASA, Payments etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications in Java, Angular, or Banking systems (optional but preferred).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ is advantageous.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
