Sr. Java Developer with MongoDB

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot, microservices architecture, MongoDB, AWS Services, and managing the applications orchestrated on K8 to join our dynamic team. As a Java Developer, you will be critical in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions serving the building facade industry. Your deep knowledge of these technologies will be essential in creating robust, scalable, and high-performance applications.

Responsibilities

Software Development:

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Design, code, and troubleshoot complex, distributed microservices systems.
• Use various AWS services to build cloud-native applications.
  
  

Microservices Architecture

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a microservices architecture.
• Build and deploy microservices that are independent, highly available, and capable of seamless integration.
  
  

Database Management

• Utilize MongoDB to design, implement, and optimize data models for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Perform data migration, indexing, and data consistency management.
  
  

Version Control And Collaboration

• Utilize GitHub for version control, code repository management, and collaboration with team members.
• Participate in code reviews, sharing best practices, and maintaining a clean codebase.
  
  

Performance Optimization

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring efficient resource utilization in the microservices ecosystem.
  
  

Security And Compliance

• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data in both code and databases.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations as applicable.
  
  

Testing And Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to maintain code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues in a timely manner.
  
  

Documentation

• Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
• Provide clear documentation for other team members and stakeholders.
  
  

Continuous Integration And Deployment (CI/CD)

• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process, ensuring continuous integration and delivery of software.
  
  

Troubleshooting And Support

• Investigate and resolve production issues, providing support to operational teams when needed.
  
  

Stay Current

• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, MongoDB, and other relevant technologies.
• Share knowledge and contribute to the growth of the development team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ Years of Proven experience as a Java Developer with a focus on Spring Boot, microservices, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Proficiency in version control tools, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Certification in relevant technologies is a plus.
