Sr. Network Engineer

Overview

Analyze and resolve MS SQL Server latency related to network performance or configuration bottlenecks

Expert-level knowledge of TCP, UDP, SLP, and SFTP protocols, including deep packet inspection and session troubleshooting

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across LAN, WAN, and cloud infrastructure, including latency, packet loss, routing issues, and security misconfigurations

Experience using diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, AWS CloudWatch, SQL Profiler

Perform deep protocol diagnostics on TCP, UDP,SLP, and SFTP traffic using tools like Wireshark and tcp dump

Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy

Design, implement, and troubleshoot AWS networking components, such as VPCs, Subnets, Internet Gateways, NAT Gateways, Route Tables, Security Groups, and NACLs

Maintain and optimize connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud, including:

Site-to-Site VPNs

AWS Direct Connect

Hybrid DNS and routing strategies

Network segmentation and traffic flow optimization

Monitor network and application performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, AWS CloudWatch, SQL Profiler, and Windows Performance Monitor

Collaborate with DBAs, developers, and system administrators to resolve end-to-end connectivity and performance issues

Document root cause analysis, network architecture, and configuration changes

Proficiency with Windows Server administration and core services (AD, DNS, DHCP)

Pay: ₹510,932.67 - ₹1,720,942.14 per year
