What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI)
- Lead architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications
- Work on optimizing application performance and database efficiency
- Take ownership of key components and drive them to production
- 3+ years of solid experience with Python and backend development
- Strong expertise in one or more Python web frameworks (preferably Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design and integrations
- Solid database skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with caching, task queues (Redis, Celery)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
- Experience with unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset
- Good communication and mentoring skills
- Bonus: Experience in microservices architecture and system design
