Sr. Software Engineer

Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who brings not only technical mastery in C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and Azure, but also the right mindset—someone who is proactive, collaborative, and committed to building reliable, secure, and scalable systems.

In this role, you’ll be a key driver of our product evolution, architecture decisions, and DevSecOps culture. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, QA, cloud operations, and security to deliver high-quality features at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust .NET Core / ASP.NET applications, including REST APIs and web frontends (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Drive the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Take ownership of full-stack components—from database to frontend UI—across services.
• Champion DevOps & CI/CD practices: automate builds, deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Security and DevOps teams to integrate SecOps principles into pipelines and applications.
• Continuously evaluate and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
• Mentor junior developers and help foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture sessions, and agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retros, etc.)

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong track record of delivering production systems.
• Proficient in C#, .NET 6/7, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and MVC frameworks.
• Strong experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React or Angular (preferred).
• Deep understanding of Azure services: App Services, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, etc.
• Experience building and deploying using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices – secure coding, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, etc.
• Strong grasp of REST, HTTP, OAuth2, Identity & Access Management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative team environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a “build it, own it, improve it” mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with distributed systems, messaging queues, or microservices architecture.
• Background in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated domains.
• Exposure to logging, telemetry, and observability stacks (e.g., App Insights, Grafana, ELK).
• Open-source contributions or personal project portfolio.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000,000.00 - ₹16,000,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• Performance bonus
