Sr Software Engineer (4-7 yrs of exp in ITOM, CMDB, CSDM & ITSM)

About this Role:

We are looking for a motivated and well-rounded ServiceNow Developer with strong technical expertise and a passion for building scalable solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, architects, and business analysts to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that drive continuous improvement across Gartner.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform following best practices.
• Provide guidance to junior developers and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality based on ServiceNow best practices.
• Proactively identify issues, troubleshoot issues and provide fixes, work on Support tickets.
• Help stakeholders adopt to new features of ServiceNow.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest ServiceNow features.
• Document processes or Technical Design Documents.
• Work closely with the stakeholders and the ServiceNow Product owner, ServiceNow Architect and Business Analyst to build solutions.
  
  

4-7+ years’ experience in software development in ServiceNow

Must Have:

• Hands-on experience working on ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, CSDM, Event Management, Service Graph Connectors), HRSD (Employee Centre), ITSM Pro (Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, Performance Analytics). Experience in end-to-end implementation or major enhancements in at least two of these areas.
• Possess advanced ServiceNow Technical skills - Business Rules, Script Includes, Client scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, Import Sets, Transform maps, MID Server configuration.
• Worked on Integrating ServiceNow with other tools.
• Understanding of Generative AI and LLM’s including Agentic AI framework from ServiceNow.
• Experience guiding junior developers.
• Experience collaborating with Business Analyst and Architect to provide solutions and estimate level of effort.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira).
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications: Certified ServiceNow Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist in ITOM or HRSD or ITSM / Certified application developer.
