A Senior Software Engineer working on a GPPe plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance payment solutions. Their responsibilities typically include:
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain payment processing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards like PCI-DSS.
Integrate payment gateways and third-party APIs for seamless transactions.
Optimize transaction processing for speed, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, security experts, and business analysts.
Implement fraud detection mechanisms to enhance security.
Debug and resolve technical issues related to payment processing.
Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate , and microservices architecture.
Experience with payment processing systems , gateways, and APIs.
Knowledge of database management (SQL, NoSQL) and transaction handling.
Understanding of security protocols and encryption techniques.
Problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field .
Knowledge of Gen AI and AI tools will be added advantage.
