Key Responsibilities

A Senior Software Engineer working on a GPPe plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance payment solutions. Their responsibilities typically include:

• Develop and maintain payment processing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards like PCI-DSS.
• Integrate payment gateways and third-party APIs for seamless transactions.
• Optimize transaction processing for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, security experts, and business analysts.
• Implement fraud detection mechanisms to enhance security.
• Debug and resolve technical issues related to payment processing.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with payment processing systems, gateways, and APIs.
• Knowledge of database management (SQL, NoSQL) and transaction handling.
• Understanding of security protocols and encryption techniques.
• Problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
  

Knowledge of Gen AI and AI tools will be added advantage.
