Sr Software Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Traffic team, you will work in an agile environment to design and implement innovative solutions for traffic data processing. Your responsibilities include:

• Automate Map Data Processing: Build cutting-edge tools to streamline traffic data workflows across backend systems and dashboards.
• Lead Technical Excellence: Develop robust, scalable solutions and continuously adapt to emerging technologies.
• CI/CD Expertise: Ensure seamless code deployment using modern CI/CD practices.
• Full-stack Ownership: Manage the entire software lifecycle, including DevOps and testing.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with internal teams and customers to solve complex problems and unlock new opportunities.
• Leverage APIs and Platforms: Maximize internal resources for efficient data processing.
• Build for Scalability: Develop reusable and reliable software for future growth.
  
  

• • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science/information systems or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with either Java or Scala. Familiarity with both is a plus.
  • Data structures and messaging technologies are your playground, and frameworks are your tools of choice.
  • You're a citizen of the cloud, fluent in RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, SOA, and microservices architectures.
  • AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) holds no secrets, and Docker is your trusted sidekick.
  • CI/CD is your mantra, with GitLab your preferred language.
  • C an write Linux/Unix shell scripts fluently.
  • Translating business needs into elegant, consistent software design is your superpower.
  • You write clean, reusable, and reliable code because quality is in your DNA.
  • Unit testing, performance testing, and building testable code are your hallmarks.
