About the Team:
The Enterprise Platforms & Architecture team’ primary purpose is to provide state of the art platforms, frameworks, tools and services that enables business teams within Lowe’s conduct smooth operations on a day-to-day basis.
Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.

Understand, identify and derive solutions to problem statements.
Under the guidance of Lead Engineer, Engineering Manager and Product Manager, work towards achieving the goals.
Develop clean code which can be easily maintained following the code standards and principles.
Should be accountable and responsible for delivering functional, defect applications.
Contribute to Innovation, Engineering practices and Engineering Culture within the team.
Hands on experiences in building Banck end applications.
Review design and code of team members and provide timely guidance to the team
Be able to problem solve and help the team for resolving complex issues
Should be able to identify the root cause of production issues and come up with solutions immediately.
Proactively identify dependencies with various enterprise products and channel it to the product backlog
Should be a team player, should have experience in Agile
Share learnings and best practices with the team members
Years of Experience:
5-8 years in software / IT development
4 + years of hands-on experience in design, build and supporting distributed architecture using Java Spring boot, Reactive programming, Web flux.
3+ years of hands-on experience in developing streaming applications using Kafka, Couchbase / Mongo DB in GCP
5 + years of experience in Backend development
4+ years of agile software delivery
Education Qualification & Certifications (optional):
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)
Skill Set Required:
You must have 4+ years of hands-on experience in minimum 2 complex backend applications.
Understanding the priorities, scope and OKRs
Understand the trade-offs in different technical choices
Backend stack exposure
Microservices architecture and REST standards
Java/SpringBoot, Reactor, Webflux
Fault tolerant System Design
Observability and monitoring of systems
2 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software environment and developing and implementing business systems within an organization
Secondary Skills (desired):
Familiarity with JavaScript, React, and Node.js for full-stack or frontend development.
