Sr Software Engineer (Go)

Key Responsibilities

‒ Create GQL APIs by developing in GO .

‒ Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

‒ Build the plugins in GO required for ETL processes for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and cloud database technologies.

‒ Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

‒ Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and regions.

‒ Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

‒ Manage exploratory data analysis to support database and dashboard development

Key Requirements

Experience: 8-10 years would be preferable.

Required Skills

‒ A deep understanding of both fundamental programming concepts and the unique features of Golang.

‒ Should be well-versed in the GO language, managing pointers, as well as understanding how to use its mature standard library.

‒ Proficiency in the Go programming language, understanding of concurrent programming, and familiarity with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

‒ Need Strong Problem-solving Abilities And Effective Communication Skills.

‒ Good knowledge of Rest APIs, databases and SQL.

‒ Understanding of index design and performance-tuning techniques

‒ Exposure to Source control like GIT, Azure DevOps

‒ Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

‒ Experience with automated testing and coverage tools and experience with CI/CD automation tools (desirable)
