Sr. Technical Lead

Overview

Looking for Senior a Civil Engineer (Infrastructure) to play a leading role in the development of our engineering team for the design of Civil engineering projects in the Middle East.

The candidate should have demonstrable experience in a Civil Engineering role within a Design consultancy environment, and be well versed in relevant civil design software. Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (M-Tech preferred) with around 8 to 10 years of working experience.

The candidate will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as their professional skills develop.

The candidate should have relevant working experience in civil engineering design relating to the built environment, including the design of Earthworks, grading, levelling, Cutting/ filling, Storm water drainage, Foul sewage, Road profiles, interfacing of infrastructure (for example wet utilities design, dry utility interfaces and requirements, drainage systems, utility infrastructure coordination and spatial planning). Experience of infrastructure as part of buildings projects, working closely with other disciplines would also be an advantage.

The candidate shall have experience in developing schemes ranging from Master planning, Concept on to Detailed Design and Construction drawings with an understanding of Middle east construction specification and approval process.

· Willingness to travel to Middle East seeking new projects and to maintain existing business relationship.

· Preparation of basic site layouts, general arrangement drawings, site grading, plans and profiles, cut and fill calculations, site servicing including water distribution, sanitary sewers, storm water management, shallow utilities, erosion & sediment control etc.

• Understand design and drafting systems and standards and design development process followed by Middle East clients and implement in work
• Provide design guidance and instruction to drafting staff, and junior/intermediate designers.
• Coordinate and engage with other discipline engineers.
• Adherence to professional standards, ethics and Client quality procedures and standards
• Design of projects under the instructions of Operations Lead using Civil engineering software such as, but not limited to, Autodesk Civil3D, Infoworks, AutoCAD, GIS, Water / Sewer GEMS, Info Drainage, Civil 3D and Revit/ BIM.
• Attend project review meetings and ensure the provision of completed and reviewed drawings
• Knowledge of MicroStation/ OpenRoads / Infraworks / Revit / 12D will be preferred.
• General knowledge of construction techniques and practices
• Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering in a BIM environment
• Ability to work independently and use his/her initiative. Able to lead larger tasks and manage work of team.
• Competent level of client service management, i.e., able to interact with clients and to build and maintain lasting, positive relationships
• Rigorous attention to detail, able to understand and adopt workflows and commitment to professional development.
• Flexible attitude to accepting different work assignments and pro-active attitude to execution / delivery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
