Sr. Test Engineer - QA Job

Job Description

Manual QA | Experience – 5 – 7 years

Mandatory Requirements

• 5 years or more total experience in Software Development out of which minimum 3 years should be in quality assurance
• Proven experience in manual QA roles within Agile software development environments
• Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to quality assurance
• Experience in writing clear and thorough test cases and plans
• Effective communication skills with the confidence to ask questions and challenge constructively
• Familiarity with defect lifecycle and expertise in logging actionable bugs
• Proficiency in any test management tool (e.g., Microsoft Test Manager, Jira, HP QC, etc.)
  
  

Preferred But Not Mandatory

• Domain knowledge in the upstream oil and gas sector, particularly in production engineering
• Certification in QA from a recognised body (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, etc.)
• Experience working in domain-oriented or dynamically evolving project environments
